Choose Unity Anyway
Restoring connection in a divided world
There’s a stirring many of us can feel and even see. An urgency rising beneath the noise. I, for one, feel discomfort and angst in times like these.
But we have to remember:
It’s not panic. It’s purpose.
The Lumer Council calls this moment “the time of due diligence”. This is not for individuals alone, but for the collective body of humanity.
We are being asked to take our place as steady lights within the rapid currents of division.
🌊 Lumer Council Message
Mark these words: the time has come to do due diligence for the masses.
We are here to guide. Let go. Trust the current.
Do not think the good times are a fluke. They are a Beacon for many.
Be a light for the towns. The new lights on the mountain.
From space, this place shines. We are called to live here in alignment with the true firmament.
Speak to connect.
Help others move along the winding path of Earth’s motherhood, in harmony with nature by the sea.
Move before it is too late.
Calm the waters. Live by living. Be by being.
Move the moon and stars.
Journey toward the gate of fortune and be well supplied.
🌀 Taking it In
Every time I revisit this message, I take away a new perspective. Each time, I feel the burning passion to do something that is positive and unifying.
We need to show up where we are, with what we have, in the most honest way we can. Each sincere act, when positive and unifying, lights the way for others who are still searching for answers and purpose.
This is the heart of abundance: not taking more but being more. Being fully alive. Fully connected. Willing to act when the call comes.
I admit, this is scary to do, especially when division and conflict is the status quo. The ideas in the Simple Shift are steps that I feel comfortable doing. They begin with positive intentions and aim to de-escalate conflict.
🔄 Simple Shift
Pause and Listen.
When a conversation starts to heat up, inhale slowly and think, “I trust the current.”
Listen not just to the words being said, but to what’s beneath them: the fear, the need, the wish to be understood.
Notice what you feel drawn to say next. Choose words that seek to understand and unify.Act Locally.
Do one tangible thing that adds light where you live. Help a neighbor, plant something, or start a conversation that brings understanding instead of division.Calm the Waters.
If tension rises (online, at work, at home), be the grounded presence. Take a deep breath before responding. Let calm be your contribution.Share the Light.
Before you sleep tonight, name one way you brought light to someone’s day. Then imagine that light continuing to spread.
