Log clearly. Interpret later. Connect patterns over time, plus a screenshot prompt card.
Save this post. It’s a reusable template you can come back to any time you want to log a dream or vision with clarity.
My method is simple: record first (objectively), reflect later, connect patterns over time.

Clarity rule
To avoid confusion and false entries, I only log dreams/visions when I’m physically well and clear and sober.
If I’m sick or not clear, I rest and come back later.
Template 1: Full Dream / Vision Entry
Use this when the dream/vision feels vivid, symbolic, emotionally strong, or worth tracking in detail.
Date: ____ Time (wake): ____ Time (received): ____
Type: ____ Sleep quality (1–5): ____ Location (optional): ____
Clarity check:
I’m physically well
Clear and sober
If either isn’t true, I don’t log this entry
🧾 Objective record (no interpretation)

Come back when you’re grounded. This is where meaning-making belongs.💭
💭 Reflect
How I felt during:
How I felt after waking:
What lingers now (emotion, body sensation, mood):
If this were a metaphor, it might be about…
If it were literal, it might be pointing to…
What I don’t understand yet (leave this open):

Tags (3–8):
(Examples: water, doorway, teacher, chase, blue light, warning, reunion, mountain, ocean)
If you have multiple dreams in one night
Log them as Dream A / Dream B / Dream C, even if they’re short. A title and three lines still count.
Dream A title:
Dream B title:
Dream C title:
The 3-Pass Method
This keeps things clear and prevents rushing into interpretation.
Pass 1: Capture (right away, 2–5 minutes)
Objective record (what happened)
A few sensory details
Symbols/images
Pass 2: Reflect (later the same day, 5 minutes)
Feelings (during + after)
One possible meaning (not a verdict)
One life link
Pass 3: Connect (weekly, 10 minutes)
Circle repeating symbols
Notice repeating emotions/settings
Link entries that feel connected (date + title)
The goal isn’t to “solve” a dream. It’s to build pattern clarity over time.
Snapshot Dream/Vision Card
Screenshot this and keep it on your phone for mornings when you need something fast.
On low-energy mornings, use the Snapshot. You can always come back later for reflection.
Quick question: When you wake up, what do you remember first: an image, a feeling, or a line of dialogue?
