From Reaction to Intuition
A simple practice to step back and see what’s really guiding you
Sometimes my emotions feel like they are running the show. Anger, worry, even excitement can sweep me up until I am reacting before I think it through.
In those moments, it’s easy to confuse raw reaction with inner guidance, or intuition.
Lemurian teachings describe intuition as a natural human faculty, but one that requires emotional honesty to be reliable.
They view quick, unexamined reactions as surface noise, while true intuition emerges when body, feeling, and spirit are in balance.
🌊 Lumer Council Message
Intuition happens when the mind, feelings, and body are all present, and you step back as the observer of each.
Notice your mind. Notice your feelings. Notice your physical reactions.
The act of observing them all together is what creates intuition.
🌀 Taking it In
Intuition shows up when I observe what my body, feelings, and mind are all doing together.
🛑 I feel anxious about the future. My shoulders tighten, jaw clenches, and thoughts race. Intuition is saying, “Wait. Don’t act on this.”
🛡️ I feel uneasy around someone. My stomach knots, my breath shortens, or my hands shake. This discomfort is a sign to keep up my guard.
🚦 I feel hopeful about a plan. My chest feels open, my breath steady, and a calm excitement settles in. This is intuition saying, “Yes, this is right. Go for it.”
Observing body, feelings, and mind helps me tell the difference between raw reaction and true guidance.
Intuition = Feelings + Body + Mindful Observation
🔄 Simple Shift
Next time you find yourself caught in an intense emotion, pause and label each layer.
🧍 What is my body doing?
❤️ What feeling am I noticing?
💭 What thought is running?
Then step back and observe the whole picture.
This simple act of observing may show you whether you are reacting, or whether intuition is speaking.

Intuition is both the stop sign and the green light, keeping us safe and showing us the way.

Most of my “intuition problems” weren’t intuition problems. They were timing problems.
