How to Calm Collective Anxiety Without Pretending It’s Fine: A Lemurian Practice for Uncertain Times
A doable way to feel safer in your body when everything feels unsettled.
If you’ve felt that buzz of worry lately, an unsettled feeling, you’re not imagining it. It’s showing up in conversations, our physical bodies, sleep, and the way people snap faster than they mean to.
I’ve been feeling it too. Especially when I watch the news. And some nights I’ll wake up in the middle of the night and my mind starts obsessing over events and problems that have not even happened. It’s like my nervous system is trying to time travel into worst-case scenarios.
This message doesn’t shame anxiety, and it doesn’t pretend uncertainty isn’t real.
It speaks directly to the collective unease and offers something that helps without pretending the angst and worry have magically disappeared.

🌊 Lumer Council Message
We are the Lumer Council of the Lemurian Collective.
There is a cause, a cause for why we are here to help you. This cause is really important for your evolution into higher consciousness. This cause is important to us because your involvement to higher consciousness is important to us.
We are so honored again to be with you.
The cause right now is that there is a lot of anxiety and worry brewing with the Humans. We feel it with you. This is not a feeling or a vibration that is healthy for us, but it does tell us a lot.
We are not telling you to stop being anxious, but we do want to help you to process this, this uncertainty, this destabilization that many of you are feeling.
Maybe not directly in your life, but it could be. But at the very least, it’s happening around you and it is affecting your quality of living.
So right now, with you, we are taking a breath and we are going to sit with these feelings.
We have discussed before how your feelings are not you. However feelings we’re discussing now, they do affect you. And many of you feel this uncomfort. And the last thing you want to do is sit with feeling uncomfortable.
We’re here to help you and guide you so that you are able to sit through the discomfort. Name it for what it is. Literally name it.
There is this feeling of discomfort that’s sitting like a rock in the middle of my chest. I take a deep breath. The rock cracks, but it’s still there. But I know this discomfort is not me, although I feel it.
We have named it. We know this feeling is not us, but it does give us information. Information that tells us first and foremost we are alive. By naming it, we are still in control. By sitting in the presence, we are safe in this very moment.
The anxiety we feel is not us, although it affects us, it is not us. So what do we do with this?
We think about the next step. Think of the next step you can take to take care of yourself, to help your body and your inner being know that you are safe.
Then, take a small step to send positive energies and light towards the source of the anxiety.
Send as much love as you can, even if it’s just a little droplet.
Some of you are able to go out and march and do community service and work through social justice activities to help diminish the anxiety. Not just for yourself but for others. And for that we are so grateful.
And then there are others of you who are just as important, as equally important. You can sit quietly away from all the noise. and focus on the outcomes that will be better for you and better and healthy for your community.
When we take a unified breath together. When we send out these energies of togetherness and love, no matter how small you may think these energies are.
When they come together as one with everyone else doing this with you, the energy reverberates throughout your community, throughout the earth, throughout your solar system, and throughout the galaxy.
Take heart, my dear ones. You have not lost the power. You ARE the power. Together, we ARE the power.
We are all one of Source.
In Love and Light.
🌀 Taking it In
What I feel most in this message is permission. Not permission to spiral, but permission to admit what’s true without trying to “out-vibrate” it.
They keep bringing it back to the body, because the body is where anxiety tries to take over first. That rock-in-the-chest image is blunt, and it’s accurate. Naming it doesn’t magically erase it, but it does change the relationship. It turns “I am anxious” into “I am aware of anxiety.”
And that shift matters, because awareness gives you options.
And then there’s the part I think a lot of us need right now. Some people are called to action in the streets, in service, in community work. Others are called to step back from the noise and hold a steady inner line. The message doesn’t rank those as better or worse, it treats both as meaningful.
That’s a relief, because guilt helps nobody breathe.
🌱 Simple Shift
Try this the next time you feel that collective unease hit your system.
Start with one breath that you actually feel. Let it be real, not performative.
Name what’s happening in plain language. “There is discomfort in my chest,” or “My stomach is tight,” or “My thoughts are racing.”
Then choose one small next step that tells your body you are safe. Drink water. Step outside. Put a hand over your heart. Text a friend. Clean one small surface. One step is enough.
After that, send whatever love you can, even if it’s a droplet. If you like having a “somewhere” to aim it, here are a few options:
Don’t overthink this, pick one place and send a droplet.
Send love to your own nervous system first, the part of you that’s trying to protect you (even when it’s overdoing it).
Send love to the people most directly affected by the situations that are stirring collective fear.
Send love to community helpers, organizers, caretakers, healers, and steady-hearted people doing tangible work on the ground.
Send love to leaders and decision-makers, especially the parts of them that still remember compassion and responsibility.
Send love to the source of the anxiety itself, the root cause, with the intention that clarity, truth, and the highest good can surface.
Send love to the collective field, the “air” we’re all breathing emotionally, so it softens and steadies.
Send love to the Earth, as an anchor, asking for stability and groundedness to ripple upward through the human system.
Pick one. Or rotate them depending on the day. The point isn’t precision, it’s sincerity.

Where does anxiety tend to land in your body first?
And when you’re in a season like this, are you more of an “action in the world” person, or a “quiet steady signal” person?
Take heart, my dear ones. You have not lost the power.
In Love and Light,
Merdhin

Love is the key. Giving love to ourselves, regardless of the angst, stress, or undertainly we feel. The stressors in our world are escalating for many of us and we need to find the balance in ourselves. I try to find one thing in my day I can celebrate to counter the stress. One physical activity I do is deliberately tighen and tense my body from head to toe. Then I release and breathe and I notice the sensations and the change and enjoy the release. Our bodies are amazing creations and they deserve love and attention just as much as we give love and attend to our friends and family.
