đ The Stuck-to-Start 3-Pack
Three SimpleShifts to get started in under two minutes
This is for the days when youâre not lazy. Youâre not broken.
Youâre just stuck in that foggy moment where starting feels heavier than it should.
So, here are three SimpleShifts you can use immediately.
How to use this
Pick the one that feels easiest.
Do it for one minute.
Then stop and notice what changes.
âąď¸ SimpleShift 1: The One-Minute Doorway
Set a timer for 60 seconds.
Do only the first micro-movement.
Open the doc. Put your shoes on. Start the email draft. Pick up the pen.
When the timer ends, youâre allowed to stop.
(But most of the time, you wonât want to.)
đ SimpleShift 2: The Visible First Step
Choose one action that creates a physical result.
Examples:
Open the document and type the title.
Put the thing you need on the table.
Hit record and say the first sentence.
Send one âstarting nowâ text to a friend.
Visible steps tell your nervous system: We already began.
â SimpleShift 3: Pair the Step With Comfort
Fear loosens when the body feels held.
Before you start, add one comfort cue:
Tea. Sunlight. A candle. A favorite song. A blanket.
Then do one minute of the task.
Comfort first, action second.
A tiny reminder
Starting isnât a personality trait.
Itâs a nervous system moment. And moments can change.
