You’re Not Here to Be a Copy, You're Here to Be You
Healing happens when you stop editing yourself to fit in.
Somewhere along the way, a lot of us got the idea that healing is something you earn.
Like if we just read the right book, do the right practice, say the right affirmation, we’ll finally “arrive” as a fixed, polished version of ourselves who doesn’t get triggered, doesn’t doubt, and definitely doesn’t have messy days.
This message doesn’t treat healing like a makeover. It’s not about becoming someone better. It’s about coming back to who you actually are. Because your true self is your best self.
As you read the message, notice what line makes you feel seen, or slightly called out. That’s usually the one worth sitting with.

🌊 Lumer Council Message
Hello, we are the Lumer Council of the Lemurian Collective, and we are overjoyed that you are here with us right now.
And today, we’re bringing a message of hope and of joy. For hope and joy is what will help with the healing. There are many of you who are calling out for healing, and we are here to help with this.
But also know that healing doesn’t just come from the outside. It also comes from your inner being.
And we are here to help you learn ways to get in touch with your inner self, your true self. And we have been giving messages about finding and being your true self.
Being authentic is a gift you should not take lightly. It’s not a gift you should give away to others, either. Being authentic and being your true self is being who you are from Source.
Many of you are dealing with the pressures of being forced into a template or into a model of what you feel you must be.
But in reality, your mold has been broken. There is no one like you, and no one else is coming who is like you. You are you. You are unique. You are special. You are needed here today, right now.
We have said this before, but we want to say it again. More emphatically, more joyously. You are special. Your gifts and talents are needed right now to help with the evolution of humankind.
We are so overjoyed ourselves seeing how you’re evolving not only as a group, but as individuals. We are noticing some of you as individuals.
And we are here to help. However, we do not force our help. But if you ask, we will be there.
Now getting to connecting with your true inner being.
Some of you know, if you sit quietly, no distractions, just with yourself. Some of you may call this meditation, others may call it quiet time, others may call it resting. Whatever you call it, sitting there truly with yourself is the beginning of meeting your true self.
However, there’s others of you who like to get out and run around and explore. And that’s where you find your true self. You see shadows of your true self in the trees. You see your true self. You discover yourself through the interactions with nature, as well as with other people.
The trick there is not necessarily to slow down and listen, but it is to listen.
In both cases, quietly or actively, listen. Listen to that true self in you. You’ll hear it within yourself. You’ll hear it even within your brain before your ears hear it.
You’ll even feel it before your brain even translates. So, listen and feel your true self.
Now here’s a warning. Sometimes confronting your true self can be uncomfortable. That’s okay. It’s that uncomfort that means you’re growing.
It’s the growing pains, that’s all it is. You’re also growing it like a new muscle. This idea of being aware, especially being aware of yourself and sitting with yourself. It takes practice.
There’s nothing to worry about that. You will notice each time how you will grow, and you will grow more into yourself, and you will find more love for yourself.
And as you find more love for yourself, you will then find the means to love others. Love others not just through emotion, but also through service, through your talents, through your creativity.
True, those ticks and flaws that are not really flaws. Those flaws are you.
You will grow through flaws. Some flaws will change. Others you will turn into strengths. The important thing is for you to see yourself even when it’s uncomfortable.
But here’s the good news. As you get to know yourself, as we’re seeing you, you will begin to celebrate yourself. And that is not being arrogant. That is being you. That is celebrating the creation of you.
I love myself. I am a special person. I have unique talents and gifts that only I can contribute to the world.
This is the affirmation we give to you, in Love and Light.
🌀 Taking it In
What they’re basically saying is stop trying to squeeze yourself into a mold that was never made for you.
And I know how easy it is to do that without realizing.
You can be “authentic” in your head, while your life is still built around blending in.
You can say you’re being yourself, while simultaneously editing your voice, your style, your opinions, your desires, so you don’t make anyone uncomfortable.
I can feel it when I’m editing myself. My voice gets higher, I start explaining more than necessary, and suddenly I’m managing everyone’s comfort but my own.
And then we’re wiped out, and we can’t even name why. I think it’s because blending in takes more energy than we admit.
This is probably why the line, “Your mold has been broken,” hit me like a splash of cold water, in a good way. It wakes us up to the idea that we are special, unique. It’s a call to stop trying to be a copy and to unashamedly be ourselves.
And the message doesn’t say you have to find your true self in one dramatic moment. It gives two very human options. Some people find themselves in stillness. Other people find themselves in motion. Both count.
The point isn’t how you do it. The point is that you actually listen, especially to yourself.
And I appreciate that they admit something most self-help advice skips: Sometimes the real you is awkward at first.
Sometimes you meet your true self, and you don’t feel enlightened. Instead, you might feel uneasy or overly sensitive. Or annoyed. Or like, “Wow, I’ve been pretending for longer than I thought.”
That’s not failure. That’s contact. It’s the moment you stop relating to yourself like a project and start relating to yourself like a person.
And when they talk about “flaws,” I feel a wave of relief.
Some things you call flaws are labels the world puts on you to keep you in a certain place or situation.
And some of those “flaws” are growth points where you learn, adapt, and become more yourself. A few will turn into strengths.
And a few are not problems at all, they’re just features you were taught to treat like defects because they challenge the status quo.
Not everything needs to be fixed. Some things need to be understood and even valued.
Remember, you are here to share your gifts through service, creativity, and your natural talents, without waiting until you feel perfect. Because, in reality, your true self is perfect.
🌱 Simple Shift: Unmute Yourself
Try this today in a way that fits your actual life.
Option A: Quiet (60 seconds).
Sit somewhere and ask: What part of me have I been putting on mute? Don’t force an answer. Just notice what shows up.
Option B: Moving (60 seconds).
Take a short walk and ask: What part of me have I been putting on mute? Notice what you feel before you explain it.
Once you notice something, try the affirmation:
I love myself. I am a special person. I have unique talents and gifts that only I can contribute to the world.
Then take one action that matches the real you, even if it’s only for sixty seconds.
Examples:
Choose one message you’ve been over-editing and send it.
Skip the extra apology. Skip the extra explanation.Make something in your natural voice and let it be unfinished.
A messy sketch. A raw paragraph. A short riff.Choose one “real-you” micro-preference and honor it.
Put on the color you actually like. Play the song you actually want. Choose the route you prefer.
That’s how this becomes healing, not just insight.
Join the Conversation
What’s one thing that’s actually you that you’ve been downplaying?
A talent, a weird fascination, a kind of humor, a style, a sensitivity, a way you see the world? Even if it feels “too much” or “too weird,” I want to hear it.
Healing isn’t you becoming someone else.
It’s using your own voice and sharing your gifts and talents with the world.
In Love and Light,

If this post supported you and you’d like to support my work.

I like flaws. Flaws in some artifacts, art, and other material things represent the uniqueness and enhance value. It is the offsets, the quirks, the flaws that make things interesting. Who is to say what is perfection? And is it something that is attainable?
Yes!!!!!!💥
